Teknopanel, with its headquarters in Mersin, has shown that it accomplishedly takes firm steps towards being the world’s leading brand through triplicating its export production in June at its Mersin, Sakarya, İzmir and İstanbul factories.
Teknopanel Export Manager Özgür Devrim Çakır emphasized that it is not easy to export every region during pandemic and said: ‘We have taken all measures against COVID-19 outbreak and delivered all of our sandwich panel product orders timely with our expertized export team and producing power, which responds to each and every request of our customers. We increased our sandwich panel export volume by 81% in comparison to the first half of 2019 and accomplished it as 900 thousand square meters. We have achieved a phenomenal success with the export worth of 343 thousand square meters in June and triplicated our monthly average export figure.

Export Manager Çakır said: ‘Now, we, as Teknopanel, expand our export network which spreads to 93 countries in the continents of Asia, Europe, Africa, North and South America in line with our targets. We proceed by incorporating new service points with the sound sales strategy as well as the market uptake policies and logistics management which we implement with our dynamic and proactive sales team. The fact that our production facilities are located in the most strategical regions of Turkey increases our competitiveness, export volume and accessibility. With export logistic operation size reaching up to the embarking of 137 semi-trailer trucks and 254 containers in June, both our business volume and our logistic suppliers’ increased. This accomplishment we gained during pandemic was the indicator of Teknopanel’s strength as a Turkish brand.’
TEKNOPANEL INVOLVED IN THE INTERNATIONAL QUALITY PROJECTS
Teknopanel Export Manager continued his words by saying: ‘Teknopanel, becoming a recognizable and trusted brand throughout the international platform as in Turkey with the exportation and marketing strategies it manages, continues to be the favorite brand in quality projects. South Asia's first and the world's second Passive House Project, the Star Innovation Center, which was built with our products, was granted with Sustainability Merit Award by American Institute of Architects (AIA) New York. FM certificated and PIR insulated Teknopanel sandwich panels and Teknosistem wall thermal insulation products were preferred for the Passive House Project, having the importance of cases such as energy efficiency, air leakage, thermal and moisture insulation.’
