Teknosistem Wall Plugs are mechanic retaining elements that provide adhesion strength of thermal insulation boards against vertical forces to the surface such as the wind’s vacuum power. They are selected according to the structural components of the thermal insulation surface. The length of wall plugs are determined considering the thickness of insulation material and deformations on the wall surface.

Wall plugs with plastic bodies and plastic nails made up of non-recyclable raw material are used as mechanic retaining elements in order to fasten thermal insulation boards on standard walls and to protect the exterior thermal insulation systems against the wind’s vacuum power.

Wall plugs with steel nails and clamping nail heads are used as mechanic retaining elements in order to fasten thermal insulation boards on reinforced concrete and hard surfaces and to increase the adhesion of plaster.    

They are wall plugs with metal screws, clamping nail heads and plastic drilling bits used in exterior thermal insulation system applications on wooden (OSB etc.) and cement-bonded particle boards, and increase the adhesion of plaster. Drilling is not necessary.

Teknosistem Aerated Concrete Wall Plug is selected according to the type and thickness of thermal insulation material to be used in exterior thermal insulation system applications on aerated concrete surfaces. They are wall plugs with clamping heads, plastic bodies and plastic nails made up of non-recyclable raw material that increase the adhesion of plaster.
