DHA: ''Teknopanel, accepted to the TURQUALITY brand support program, will double its export turnover in 4 years''
Teknopanel joined the companies included in the TURQUALITY brand scope, our country's first state-supported brand program. The sandwich panel and EPS manufacturer, which is counting the days to launch its production facility in North Macedonia, aims to be among the top three in Europe with its 4-year support program.
İSTANBUL — A company from the construction materials industry participated in the TURQUALITY program, launched 20 years ago to support brands from different industries to achieve sustainable success in global markets. Teknopanel, the sandwich panel and EPS manufacturer, announced that it has been accepted to the Brand Support Program of TURQUALITY, the first and only state-supported branding program in the world. Teknopanel General Manager Orhan Kahveci said, "We are among the top 7 brands in Europe in the sandwich panel sector. Our goal as part of TURQUALITY, which will last for 4 years, is to be in the top 3 in Europe and the top 5 in the world."
The Company will double its export turnover
Orhan Kahveci pointed out that TURQUALITY only supports promising formations that meet international standards: "As Teknopanel, important European and Balkan countries such as North Macedonia, Germany, France, and Serbia are on our radar with our new investment. We will continue to increase our investments in these strategically important markets." He continued his words as follows:
"Today, we export our sandwich panel and EPS products to 106 countries in 6 continents. As part of TURQUALITY, in which we have determined our target markets, we will further intensify our activities in America and Africa, as well as Europe. Our goal is to double our export turnover by exceeding USD 80 million in 4 years. With this, we will ensure that the share of exports in our turnover, which is 27%, reaches 50%."

"As Teknopanel, we made our first export to Georgia two years after we were established in 2005. Today, we export the products we produce in our domestic production facilities in Mersin, Sakarya, Izmir, and Istanbul to 106 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and North and South America. With our first overseas production facility to start operating soon in Skopje, North Macedonia, we will develop our market in the Balkan and European countries and grow especially in the Western European market by using our logistics advantage. It is among our goals to dominate Africa, where we operate, and to make our presence felt in the American market," said Teknopanel General Manager Orhan Kahveci.

"We care for green transformation projects"
Orhan Kahveci, who stated that they determined Asia, Europe, Africa, and America as their target markets to be among the leading brands of the global market within the framework of the strategic business plan they created as part of the TURQUALITY Brand Support Program, continued his words as follows: "In this regard, we will participate in the most important fairs of the construction materials sector. We will reach industry professionals through physical events and digital marketing efforts. We will expand our dealer network through strategic collaborations and increase the accessibility of our products by creating new sales points. Our goal is to be among the first brands that come to mind in qualified projects."
Teknopanel General Manager Orhan Kahveci emphasized that they produce roof, facade, cold room and acoustic sandwich panels, polyurethane, polyisocyanurate, and mineral wool insulation types that will meet the market needs and that they develop new products in the R&D center when necessary. He said: "Membrane surface sandwich roof panels and cold room panels are among our most preferred products in the export market. We are aware of our responsibility, both socially and ecologically, to ensure the continuity of production, product diversity, and consumption for a sustainable life, and with this awareness, we prioritize green transformation projects. We include innovative products that will provide more energy efficiency and savings in our portfolio through our new R&D investments. We are currently reducing our carbon footprint with the precautions and improvements we take in our production processes. We increased our installed capacity to 3.6 megawatts by completing the solar power projects we installed on the roofs of our Mersin, Sakarya, and Izmir production facilities.
We will soon implement the same practice in our North Macedonia factory. We will produce photovoltaic-compatible solar sandwich roof panels and 100% recyclable EPS thermal insulation sheets designed for roofs that produce their own energy. We aim to increase the future exports by benefiting from the logistic advantage we have."
New products with innovative solutions on the way
"Following our production facilities in Mersin, Sakarya, Izmir, and Istanbul, we are counting the days until the opening of our new facility, which will be operational in an area of 55 thousand square meters in North Macedonia. With this factory, we will increase our sandwich panel production to 16.5 million square meters and our EPS production to 1,950 million cubic meters," said Orhan Kahveci, and concluded his words as follows:
"Together with the production facility in North Macedonia, we analyzed the needs of the target markets well and made important findings. We added the high-pitched sandwich roof panel we newly developed in our R&D center and the facade panels in different models sought in architectural projects to our product group. We will continue to bring innovative solutions for projects with innovative products that support a sustainable life at international standards."
