İha.com.tr: "Investment of The Year’ Award to Teknopanel"

Teknopanel, which exports to 102 countries on 5 continents with the sandwich panel and EPS products it manufactures, was deemed worthy of the "investment of the year" award with its North Macedonia factory, which is its first overseas investment worth EUR 20 million.

Teknopanel was awarded with its 5th manufacturing facility -after Mersin, Sakarya, Istanbul, and Izmir- and its first overseas investment, the North Macedonia factory at the 6th "Stars Award Ceremony" organized by Burak Karataş Medya.

Teknopanel General Manager Orhan Kahveci received the award from Mezitli Mayor Neşet Tarhan. Speaking at the award ceremony, Kahveci said, "Our factory will be located in the Free Zone in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia. The production capacity of our facility, which has a closed area of 16 thousand square meters and a total installed area of 55 thousand square meters, is 3 million square meters per year for sandwich panels and 350 thousand cubic meters for EPS products. Our annual turnover target is EUR 35 million with our sales and marketing activities carried out in all European and Balkan countries. We plan to generate 80 percent of this turnover from exports." Our goal is to provide at least 120 employment opportunities at this facility."
