Teknopanel General Manager Orhan Kahveci said, ‘Our goal is to start production in 2022 in our new facility, which will be worth EUR 16 million 250 thousand on a total area of 54 thousand m2 -12 thousand m2 of which is closed area- in the free zone of Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia.’ 

Expressing that Teknopanel, established in Mersin in 2005, sells and markets sandwich panels and EPS products manufactured in 4 production facilities, with a total installed area of 123 thousand m2, to the domestic and foreign markets, General Manager Kahveci also said, ‘We established our first production facility, on an area of 34 thousand m2 in Mersin, Tarsus Organized Industrial Zone, where our General Directorate is located. After commissioning the second sandwich panel line in our facility where EPS and Sandwich Panel are manufactured, we made our second factory investment with an area of 35 thousand m2 in Sakarya, Hendek OIZ in 2012. We undersigned two important investments in 2018. The first one is the EPS production facility in Istanbul, Esenyurt, established on an area of 8 thousand m2 as our 3rd investment while the other one is our 4th investment which is the factory in Manisa, Turgutlu with an area of 46 thousand m2 to manufacture sandwich panel and EPS products. ’ 

General Manager Kahveci said, ‘Today, we are the largest manufacture of sandwich panels and EPS products in Turkey. I can express that the most important indicator of our success is that we have taken place in the list of “Top 500 Largest Industrial Enterprises” which is announced by ISO annually and that we climbed up to the 121st rank by comparison to the previous year and have been leading the way for 7 years consecutively.’

We Will Increase Our Global Strength with Our New Production Plant

Kahveci said, ‘We deliver our products and services from our production facilities located at strategic points to 99 countries in Asia, Europe, Africa, North and South America. We have increased our annual export turn over from USD 25 million to USD 40 million. We have taken a huge step towards increasing our competitiveness in the global market with our new investment and strengthen our presence in the Balkans and North Macedonia significantly. We will manufacture sandwich panel and EPS products at our North Macedonia facility, which is our first overseas investment. We aim to reach a production volume of 350 thousand m3 annually with EPS production line in 2022, and 3,5 million m2 annually with sandwich panel production line that will start manufacturing in 2023. As a Turkish brand, we aspire to represent our country proudly by combining our exports to the four corners of the world with our overseas investments.
